Where's Justin?

Amelia POV

Katherine, Daisy and I looked at each other with widened eyes. Ryan's and Andrew's jaw tightened. None of us expected such an incident to happen. Sarah's fresh tears flowed down her cheeks.

Liam held in onto his embrace and tried to coax her. Ryan and Andrew murmured something within themselves and left the room after patting gently onto Liam's back. Giving the couple some privacy, we girls moved to the balcony.

"Who were those boys Liam was fighting with?" I asked.

"They are Kevin and Ashley from literature department. They bully almost everyone in the uni. I've seen them engaged in dangerous fights with the boys of my department. But I never knew they could stoop so low that they would try to rape a girl," Katherine explained.

She continued, "But there's one more guy, Joshua. He's the leader of the group. Except these three, there are many boys in their group like John, Steve, Ashton, Nick, Calix and Spencer. They all come from different departments."

"So where was that Joshua during the fight?" Daisy asked.

Katherine shrugged her shoulders and nodded her head indicating that she had no idea.

Suddenly I remember about Justin. "Where's Justin?" I asked the girls.

Daisy gave it a thought and replied, "Liam must be knowing."

We walked towards Liam and Sarah. We were about to ask Liam about Justin's whereabouts but suddenly Andrew came running to us along with Ryan and asked, "Where's Justin? Ryan and I didn't see him since morning."

Liam thought for a second and replied, "He came to the apartment before the fight. He said that he had forgotten some assignments."

I gently interrupted,"But all assignment submissions are postponed by the next month."

Everyone looked at Liam with a questioning look. "I have no idea why did he come back then." "That's not the concern. Where the hell is he right now?" Andrew exclaimed.

"Guys, Justin's live location is active at the b-bar..." Ryan's fearful voice came.

"Hurry up, he must have been drinking the whole day!" Andrew exclaimed.

Liam was about to free himself from Sarah and get up but Ryan interrupted, "No Liam, you'll stay here. Sarah needs you."

Andrew and Ryan almost left but Ryan suddenly stopped on his tracks and whispered something to Andrew.

The next moment, Andrew asked me hesitantly, "Amelia, if you don't mind, can you come with us?"

My head snapped towards him, with my brows furrowed. I was confused for a moment. Why would they want me to come? What if Justin wouldn't like me to see him there? I kept my thoughts aside and walked towards them. After all, it's one of our group members who needs help.

Author POV

Ryan drove the car while Amelia and Andrew settled on the passenger seats. Andrew kept on texting and calling Justin but got no answers. Ryan was focused on driving but his thoughts were occupied by Justin's safety. Amelia sat quietly hoping that Justin would be safe. She was completely clueless about the situation.

Andrew looked at Amelia and said, "We apologize to drag you with us. Whenever Justin hits the bar, he always ends up hurting himself on his hands with a broken glass and Liam used to do his first aid. Now that Liam couldn't come and we both are not well versed in offering first aid, we had to bring you with us." Amelia looked at Andrew with an understanding gesture.

He continued, "Daisy told me you belong to a medical family background, so I assumed you could do the first aid better than us. There's a medical store at a few distance from the bar. You can collect the first aid from there while we bring Justin to the car. I hope you'll help us...."

Amelia looked up at Andrew with a light smile and lightly squeezed his hand and said, "I'll always be there for my friends, no matter what."

What had happened to Justin? Will he be okay till the trio reach out to him? What will be Justin's reaction upon seeing Amelia there? It's just the beginning of something else—something that start something new in Amelia's life and change it forever...
